Alex, that's a tough question, as while these 4 behaviors occur consistently in many organizations, the context in which they occur are often very different. They also may occur at different intensities. They may occur due to one department, or one individual. The approach to addressing them will be driven by a complete and detailed understanding of the behavior, and it's typically not simply a nudging technique that will get you there. Some challenges may be simple to address (i.e. ambiguity is usually the easiest) while others (i.e. obstruction, elitism) are much more personal and complex. In the end, any change in an organization starts with people.
